Australian Running Festival 2017Fitness runners train long and hard for the marathons they choose to participate in, and the Australian Running Festival is proud to host many of the area’s most enthusiastic runners.

This year, the Australian Running Festival 2017 will take place on the 8th and 9th of April, ushering in a tribute to athleticism, endurance, and dedication.

The event will begin in the Event Village at the West Lawns of Parkes Place West. Several categories are available, allowing this event to be accessible by a wide variety of athletes.

Runners may register under any of the following categories:

  •  Seeded – By invitation only, these runners aim to place inside the top 20.
  •   Elite Wheelchair Athletes – A Start Group whose goal is to complete the half marathon in less than 140 minutes.
  • Color-Coded Groupings – All other participants in the respective courses. 

Courses will include

  • 10km
  • 5lm
  • Ultra Marathon
  • Half Marathon
  • The Canberra Times  Canberra Marathon
  • Half Marathon
